Colin Farrell & Vince Vaughn To Star In “True Detective” Season 2

HBO’s hit series “True Detective” is gearing up for it’s second season. The premiere season starred Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. With a new cast and story, two famous faces have been confirmed to be the leads of the upcoming season. The compromised detective, Ray Velcoro, will be played by Colin Farrell. His character is torn between his own bosses and the dangerous mob.

Vince Vaughn will take on the role of Frank Semyon, who is known as a career criminal. His illegal ways will soon cost him his empire, especially after his business partner is killed. HBO also shared these details regarding this season’s plot, “Three police officers and a career criminal, who must navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder.” Will the new season live up to the success of it’s predecessor?
